Andrea Preston (Navajo/Hispanic) was born in Tuba City, Arizona. She is Honágháahnii (One-Walks-Around Clan) and her maternal grandfather is of the Tódich'ii'nii (Bitter Water Clan).
Andrea creates art that is inspired by the tradition of Navajo weaving and the influences of powwow culture. She uses multi-mediums to integrate traditional imagery with modern contemporary design concepts. Her work speaks of truth & healing that stems from her own personal journey as a contemporary Native Woman.
